No Reservations: All sessions are first come, first participating.
Adding a session to your calendar is a great way to track what you are interested in but does NOT guarantee your spot. We recommend having a few options during each slot as back-up plans. Thanks in advance for moving to another session if you find a room is full. For help, see Sched’s Attendee Guide.

As you plan, note room capacities (listed with room #, e.g. B204 / 72 = building B, room 204, seats 72) and arrive early to help ensure a seat. Thank you for your gracious cooperation and understanding, and for keeping us all safe by observing venue fire codes.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

There are an estimated 7 million Jews in the US, and at least 1,000,000 identify as non-white People of Color, yet Jews of Color are effectively absent from Jewish communal life. Where are US Jews of Color? What’s getting in the way of Jews of Color being an integral part of our Jewish community organizations and leadership? And what is the role of leaders in responding to these important questions? In this session, we will learn about Jews of Color in the US, from demographics to experiences to engagement dynamics, grapple with what it means that US Jews are part of a multiracial Jewish community, and explore strategies to navigate the intersection of leadership strategy, Jews of Color, and racial justice.
