No Reservations: All sessions are first come, first participating.
Adding a session to your calendar is a great way to track what you are interested in but does NOT guarantee your spot. We recommend having a few options during each slot as back-up plans. Thanks in advance for moving to another session if you find a room is full. For help, see Sched’s Attendee Guide.

As you plan, note room capacities (listed with room #, e.g. B204 / 72 = building B, room 204, seats 72) and arrive early to help ensure a seat. Thank you for your gracious cooperation and understanding, and for keeping us all safe by observing venue fire codes.

While converts to Judaism are nothing new, they generally constitute a fraction of the larger community. What is the impact on a smaller community when a significant portion are Jews by Choice? In this session, Rabbi Feiguin will relate his experience directing two groups of converts at Congregation B’nei Israel in San José, Costa Rica. He will offer an overview of the Jewish community in Costa Rica and, through personal testimonials, explain how it shapes the stories of those who decide to become Jewish. Participants will leave this session with a broader appreciation for what it means to decide to be Jewish. This session will be offered twice, once in Spanish and once in English on Sunday.
