No Reservations: All sessions are first come, first participating.
Adding a session to your calendar is a great way to track what you are interested in but does NOT guarantee your spot. We recommend having a few options during each slot as back-up plans. Thanks in advance for moving to another session if you find a room is full. For help, see Sched’s Attendee Guide.

As you plan, note room capacities (listed with room #, e.g. B204 / 72 = building B, room 204, seats 72) and arrive early to help ensure a seat. Thank you for your gracious cooperation and understanding, and for keeping us all safe by observing venue fire codes.

Isaac Azose, hazzan emeritus of Congregation Ezra Bessaroth and a Seward Park resident since 1962, will share a PowerPoint presentation that tells the fascinating early history of Sephardic Seattle. And because a session with Hazzan Azose would not be complete without singing, he will teach a few Ladino Romansas, Judeo-Spanish ballads developed in the former Ottoman Empire.
